Dumpster rental for yard waste and brush
Storm cleanup and lot clearing pile up brush, limbs, and leaves faster than any bag, bin, or pickup bed can keep up with. We set a container you fill over the weekend and haul the whole mess in a single run, next day when a tree comes down.
Which size fits
Brush and limbs are bulky, and green waste gets heavy once leaves and soil-laden roots go in, so it sits between volume and weight. A seasonal yard cleanup or hedge removal fits the 12 yard; storm damage, lot clearing, or a full property overhaul runs the 20. Keep root balls with heavy soil light, since dirt adds weight fast.
What goes in
- Brush, branches, and downed limbs
- Leaves, grass, and garden waste
- Hedge, shrub, and small-tree removal
- Storm and downed-tree cleanup
The short prohibited list (paints, chemicals, hazardous material) is on the FAQ page. Heavy material like concrete, brick, and dirt is welcome with a quick call first, so we can confirm weight and pricing before your card is ever charged.
“Easy booking, drop-off, and pickup. Staff was very accommodating and prompt. They even worked around my absent-mindedness by dropping my bin on time, even though I forgot to sign the contract. Highly recommend Summit. Will definitely use them again!”
Common questions
Can yard waste go in a roll-off dumpster?
Yes. Brush, branches, leaves, grass, and general green waste are all accepted, and a dumpster beats bagging or repeated dump runs for anything past a few bags. Keep it separate from the heavy stuff: large root balls caked in soil add weight quickly.
What size do I need for storm cleanup?
A routine seasonal cleanup or hedge removal fits the 12 yard ($399). A big storm, a downed tree, or clearing an overgrown lot usually calls for the 20 yard ($599), which holds about six pickup loads of brush and limbs.
What about dirt on the roots?
A little soil is fine, but a load that is mostly dirt and root balls becomes a weight job. If you are pulling stumps or grading, see our dirt and soil rental and call first so it is sized and priced by the ton.
