Dumpster rental for garage cleanouts
A garage is a few years of putting-off stacked in one room. The 12 yard drops in the driveway with low sides you can walk debris right into, and you keep it through the week to sort what stays from what goes without racing a crew.
Which size fits
A single garage is the textbook 12 yard job: low sidewalls you can walk boxes and furniture straight into, and a footprint that tucks into the driveway with room for the cars. Add a basement or attic to the same weekend and the 20 yard buys the extra room. Garage contents are bulky but light, so volume, not weight, picks the size here.
What goes in
- Old furniture, shelving, and workbenches
- Boxes, tools, and household overflow
- Bikes, lawn gear, and sports equipment
- Broken appliances and e-waste
The short prohibited list (paints, chemicals, hazardous material) is on the FAQ page. Heavy material like concrete, brick, and dirt is welcome with a quick call first, so we can confirm weight and pricing before your card is ever charged.
“Great prices and friendly staff. Process was made very easy and they are very flexible if you need to change the pick up date. I had to change pick up date 3 times and they were very understanding. I will definitely use them again if I ever need a dumpster service in the future and recommend them to anyone.”
Common questions
What size dumpster do I need for a garage cleanout?
A one or two-car garage almost always fits the 12 yard ($399): its low walls make loading easy and it holds three to four pickup loads. If you are clearing the garage plus a basement or attic in the same push, step up to the 20 yard ($599).
How long do I get to clear it out?
Five days are included on the 12 yard, and because we only pick up Monday through Friday, a Friday delivery gives you the whole weekend at no extra charge. Extra days beyond the window are $10 each.
What can’t go in the dumpster?
The short prohibited list is paint, oils, chemicals, and hazardous material. Almost everything else from a garage is fine: furniture, tools, appliances, tires ($15 each), and e-waste. If something is questionable, ask when you book and we will flag it before delivery.
