Dumpster rental for cleanouts and estates
Estate cleanouts carry a deadline and usually some weight that is not measured in tons. We keep this simple: the container lands where the carrying distance is shortest, you work at your own pace through the week, and one call removes everything at once.
Which size fits
Decades of a household add up: a garage or single-room cleanout fits the 12 yard, a whole-house cleanout is squarely 20 yard territory, and a packed estate with attic, basement, and outbuildings earns the 30. Furniture is bulky but light, so volume, not weight, picks the size here.
What goes in
- Furniture, rugs, and mattresses ($25 each)
- Boxes, clothing, and household goods
- Garage, attic, and basement contents
- Yard furniture and storage-shed contents
The short prohibited list (paints, chemicals, hazardous material) is on the FAQ page. Heavy material like concrete, brick, and dirt is welcome with a quick call first, so we can confirm weight and pricing before your card is ever charged.
“Summit Carting was the easiest part of the project. They came on time, they were reasonable with the rates, and very professional. I have a tricky driveway; it was no issue. They were wonderful to work with.”
Common questions
What size dumpster does a whole-house cleanout need?
A typical three-bedroom cleanout fills a 20 yard ($599). Densely packed homes or estates with a full basement and attic step up to the 30 yard ($799). A single garage or one-room cleanout fits the 12 yard ($399).
Can mattresses and furniture go in?
Yes: furniture, box springs, rugs, and general household goods are all fine, and mattresses go in at $25 each (tires are $15 each). Keep out paint, chemicals, and hazardous material; the prohibited list is short and posted, and we will flag anything questionable before delivery.
We are settling an estate from out of state. How does that work?
Book online or by phone and we coordinate placement with whoever is at the property. The receipt, rental agreement, and pickup confirmation all run by email and text, so the whole rental can be managed remotely.
